These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the 24 Seven Movers Los Angeles website (247moves.com) and the moving services we provide. By using our Website, requesting a quote, or booking a move with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

24 Seven Movers provides residential, apartment, commercial, long-distance, packing, and storage moving services in the Greater Los Angeles area. We are licensed by the California Public Utilities Commission (CA License: MTR 0192512) and fully insured.

2. Quotes and Estimates

Quotes provided through our Website, by phone, or by SMS are estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing depends on actual weight, volume, distance, access difficulty, and any additional services required on move day. A written Bill of Lading will be provided before work begins.

3. Booking and Cancellation

• Bookings are confirmed only after we receive a deposit or written confirmation.
• Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled move receive a full deposit refund.
• Cancellations within 48 hours may forfeit the deposit.
• We reserve the right to reschedule in case of severe weather, mechanical failure, or circumstances beyond our control; any pre-paid deposit will be credited or refunded.

4. Customer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate inventory, addresses, access details, and any restrictions (elevator reservations, parking permits, stairs, long carries).
• Be present or designate an authorized representative during pickup and delivery.
• Pack or prepare items properly unless you have purchased our packing services.
• Disclose any items of extraordinary value (art, jewelry, cash, documents, collectibles) in writing before the move.

5. Liability and Valuation

Our basic liability is included at $0.60 per pound per article as required by California law. Additional valuation coverage is available upon request for an additional fee. Claims for loss or damage must be filed in writing within 9 months of delivery.

6. Prohibited Items

We do not transport hazardous materials, flammable liquids, explosives, firearms, illegal substances, perishable food, plants, or live animals. Items of extraordinary value are transported only with prior written agreement.

7. SMS Text Messages

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional and informational SMS messages from us (quote confirmations, arrival updates, follow-ups). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit/debit cards, cash, and approved electronic transfers. A valid payment method is required to confirm bookings.

9. Website Use

You may not use our Website for any unlawful purpose, to transmit malicious code, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of our systems. All content on our Website (text, images, logos, code) is the property of 24 Seven Movers or its licensors.

10. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of our Website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
